Activities

In addition to the many concerts and performances of various entertainers, there are more attractions waiting for you on site:
  • Don't miss face painting, games, school choir and more at the Tent of École des Pionniers de Maillardville and Le Conseil scolaire francophone de la Colombie-Britannique!

  • Hosted by the Scouts francophones de Maillardville, the Scouts Tent will take you, this year, on an adventure on the Fraser River to commemorate the 200th anniversary of Simon Fraser's expedition to Western Canada. Don't miss the interactive activities in a captivating environment.

  • Come and visit exhibitors in the Main Tent; various provincial and community organizations as well as many artisans will greet you. To discover more of Maillardville, visit Place des Arts, a few steps from Mackin Park, where you can explore, express and create.

  • Have fun, help the community and win prizes! For a $10 contribution to SHARE Family & Community Services you can pop a SHARE balloon for your prize! You can win: maple taffy on snow, cans of maple syrup, passes for the 20th Edition of Festival du Bois in 2009 and other wonderful prizes!

  • And of course, there are lots of goodies waiting for you! Who can resist tourtière, poutine, maple sugar pie, and delicious maple taffy on snow offered at the Sugar Shack.

  • Begin your Sunday with a delicious full breakfast including tasty pancakes served with maple syrup. You can enjoy it for $3 (children) or $5 (adults) and it will be served in the Main Tent.

  • Look for our souvenir table to buy the official headgear of the Festival.
