Flaunt your Frenchness!

It's time to Flaunt Your Frenchness™! This cheeky, award-winning ampaign is our way of kicking off Francophone Month (in March) with panache. It's a fun way to celebrate your French connection or just learn more about French culture. Whether you speak French fluently or just a little, or you love French food and culture, we have something for everyone to make their own connection to this rich heritage and culture in our community.

Maillardville is the oldest and largest Francophone community in British Columbia and we invite everyone to come and celebrate their personal "joie de vivre" at the many Francophone events taking place throughout the week in Coquitlam. We're also getting ready for the 100th anniversary of Maillardville in 2009, and the opportunities to showcase our Francophone heritage during the 2010 Olympics. The next few years abound with opportunities to shine a light on Maillardville and the Francophone customs and traditions that have been a part of this community since the arrival of French-Canadian settlers in Maillardville in 1909.

Visit www.flauntyourfrenchness.ca for all the details.
